Clinical Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Director to join our team at FIRST CHOICE PRIMARY CARE.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clinic, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with experience in supervising staff and leading teams. You will be expected to maintain open communication with all levels of staff, promote a positive patient experience, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with all levels of staff to accomplish organizational goals and improve patient satisfaction.
- Direct, supervise, and coordinate activities of the clinic, including systems, materials management, data processing, and daily workflow.
- Work with medical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, monitoring processes to promote positive outcomes in quality assurance, compliance, risk management, HIPAA, and OSHA/infection control.
- Review operational problems, policies, and procedures, and report findings to operational leadership.
- Daily monitoring of providers' schedules to facilitate patient access and address downward trends in patient visits by reviewing and analyzing patient processes.
- Conduct daily huddles to facilitate team thinking and communication, report clinic activities, discuss open corrective action plans, and identify issues that may need escalation and resolution beyond the team and supervisor.
- Gather and report monthly data for statistical and planning purposes, identifying positive outcomes and/or adverse trends, and implementing corrective action to improve outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., business administration, healthcare management).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management or supervision, with a strong background in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including electronic medical records.
- Skills in planning, organizing, delegating, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Experience with HR regulations, including OSHA, hiring, terminations, EEOC, cultural competencies, reference checks, payroll, and standard labor law practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills to mediate conflict resolution and serve as a change agent based on strong leadership skills.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
