Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intake Specialist to join our team at New Freedom Behavioral Health. As a key member of our intake team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our members have a positive and successful entry into our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frontline Intake Services: Provide frontline intake services to members joining our Intensive Outpatient Program, ensuring a thorough understanding of our company's philosophy of treatment, admission processes, and program criteria.
  • Intake Assessment and Documentation: Complete intake assessments, effectively and correctly identifying and documenting appropriate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans based on treatment goals identified through the completed assessment.
  • Member Orientation and Education: Explain our program to members, ensuring they comprehend informed consent, including state-specific requirements, program policies, and the need to report suspected child abuse and neglect.
  • Hand-Off to Clinical and Cross-Functional Departments: Complete hand-off to clinical and cross-functional member support departments once all intake tasks are completed successfully for the member.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Effectively meet outlined KPIs, ensuring the highest quality and level of member care and engagement is provided.
  • Clinical Supervision and Oversight: Receive and actively engage in clinical supervision and oversight each week/month based on BHPP/BHT designation requirements, including completion of all continuing education requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant experience in behavioral health or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
