About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts and Compliance Manager to join our Legal team at DonorsChoose. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our contracts and compliance processes are aligned with our organizational goals and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the VP of Legal and stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement effective contract management strategies.
  • Analyze and review contracts to ensure compliance with DonorsChoose standards and best practices.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, including customized and templated agreements.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including contract creation, review, and approval.
  • Partner with other teams, including Finance, Procurement, and Operations, to ensure contracts are consistent with internal policies and processes.
  • Develop and implement contract compliance communications for the Legal Team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in contract management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems and other relevant tools and technologies.
What We Offer

DonorsChoose offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
