Technical Manager II

Amcor plc is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems and process improvement projects to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of quality systems and process improvement projects to ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Quality Manager and site QA technicians.
- Act as a safety leader and ensure a safe working environment.
- Direct the activities and priorities of Process Engineers and the Quality Department.
- Identify and implement plans for cost reduction, waste reduction, and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor resources for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the plant's Food Defense and Product Safety systems.
- Assist in product development by applying working knowledge of manufacturing capabilities to ensure design control and scale-up protocol is met.
- Manage the Corrective Action system and resolve quality concerns and complaints.
- Review and monitor the organization's documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- 5 years of experience or involvement in Technical and Quality Management.
- 3 years of previous supervisory experience.
