Job Overview

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the establishment, implementation, and management of the organization’s medical and office supply procurement and inventory control system, collaborating with various suppliers.

Administer the company’s service acquisition portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of expenditures and optimizing contracts.

Evaluate and assess potential vendor collaborations, managing vendor agreements and negotiations, which include:

  • Reviewing contract stipulations, terms, and conditions to guarantee compliance.
  • Drafting and negotiating contract provisions.
  • Organizing and maintaining comprehensive contract documentation.

Formulate strategies to achieve the organization’s financial objectives concerning supply and service acquisition costs.

Enhance sourcing methodologies to maximize efficiency and cost savings.

Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking studies.

Collaborate with Finance, Facilities, Operations, and other departments to develop, execute, and oversee InterMED’s supply chain and logistics framework.

Identify and implement strategies to improve demand forecasting and optimize inventory levels.

Proactively address and resolve inventory control issues, ensuring timely receipt and placement of all inventory orders.

Ensure that all relevant office and clinical personnel are knowledgeable about inventory and ordering processes to facilitate efficient goods movement.

Act as a consultant for internal stakeholders regarding equipment procurement.

Monitor and evaluate vendor service performance.

Build and sustain relationships with local suppliers.

Serve as the primary contact for any disputes or returns concerning inventory or supplies.

Undertake additional projects as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or business analytics.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or procurement, ideally within a healthcare setting.

Preferred certifications include Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).

Project management experience is advantageous.

Familiarity with Sage ERP system integration is a plus.

Experience in vendor negotiation and management.

Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and capable of learning new software applications.

Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and professional judgment.

Exhibit strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.

Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
