Position: Procurement Specialist

Vida Design Inc is a premier boutique interior design firm based in Portland, Oregon, focusing on urban multi-family, commercial, and hospitality projects. We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist who exhibits outstanding organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and possesses robust technical skills.

This role is hybrid, requiring residence in the Portland, OR area for in-office work as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in a design-oriented procurement environment, preferably in multi-family and hospitality sectors.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations for installations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and adaptability to new software programs (Experience with Ajera and/or Studio Designer is advantageous).
  • Strong collaborative spirit.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with both internal teams and clients.
  • Professional demeanor combined with a friendly and approachable attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring accuracy in documentation and developing furniture budgets.
  • Processing orders while managing client budget expenditures.
  • Monitoring product status from order placement to installation.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, third-party teams, and clients.
  • Maintaining project schedules and key deliverable timelines.
  • Providing oversight during installations.
