Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Ascension Borgess. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA.
- One year of critical care experience, preferably in a Neuro ICU setting.
