We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Borgess in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Registered Nurse in our Neuro ICU, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor and manage patient pain, utilizing effective pain management strategies and adhering to hospital policies.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other healthcare team members, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One (1) year of critical care experience, preferably in a Neuro ICU setting.
