Position Overview:

The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is renowned for its significant contributions to medical research and education, coupled with a strong dedication to delivering high-quality clinical care.

This department is committed to enhancing clinical and translational research efforts in various fields, including cardiology, cardiac surgery, critical care, anesthesia, imaging, thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, and translational science.

We are in search of a full-time Marketing Specialist 3 who will manage the execution of marketing outreach initiatives, ensuring that programs, services, events, and products align with the organization’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to various cardiologist office locations as needed.
  • Articulate marketing strategies throughout the organization to inform and engage stakeholders.
  • Establish collaborations with other departments, product managers, service teams, and event coordinators.
  • Possibly oversee event management to align with marketing goals.
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors and consultants.

Qualifications:

Preferred Skills:
  • Multilingual capabilities for community outreach in the local area.

Education & Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree along with eight years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Comprehensive understanding of strategic analysis, customer segmentation, and marketing planning.
  • Experience in integrated marketing strategies across digital and print channels.
  • Ability to apply market research and data analysis effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to senior management.

Certifications:
  • Valid California Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regular desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of a telephone.
  • Occasional writing and filing tasks.

Working Conditions:
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Regular local travel is expected.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $122,000 and $169,000 annually, based on various factors including the scope of responsibilities and candidate qualifications.
