Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Clerk II to join our team at Special Devices. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packages, labels, and marks packages for shipment and prepares all shipping documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Schedules and prepares domestic and international shipments of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Responsible for palletizing, wrapping, and marking all shipments accurately.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy using ERP system.
  • Works within a team structure to achieve company and department goals.
  • Keeps work area neat and clean and follows all established safety guidelines.
  • Performs additional duties related to specific area assignments.
  • Prepares and submits invoices and electronic notifications to customers.
  • Responsible for cycle counting of finished goods.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including hazardous materials handling experience. DOT/ICAO certification and forklift certification is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to lighting and temperature as required for the office and manufacturing areas. Appropriate safety equipment is required by area. There is potential exposure to hazardous chemicals, including radiation. A considerable amount of moving from department to department may occur in unfavorable weather conditions.
