Job Summary

Sciolex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Area Supervisor to support the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) mission by facilitating operations at a local USCIS Field Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Assign, monitor, and review work of department staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet established goals.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide daily production statistics to Site Manager and prioritize workloads to meet USCIS requirements.
  • Workforce Management: Ensure team completes all work assignments accurately, including daily time sheets, and monitor attendance and absences.
  • Process Improvement: Facilitate the processing of priority assignments from USCIS, identify and address issues in work performance, and implement best practices.
  • Training and Development: Train new employees, create training plans, and develop written standard operating procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Site Manager to ensure best practices are in place, participate in meetings with government personnel, and serve as Point of Contact for site operations in Site Manager's absence.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years of related experience.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  • Language: Ability to read and understand proficiently in English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment and perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
