Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse at Covington Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions, provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice, and ensure that initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, one year of nursing experience, and previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience. You must also possess CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification, and be able to communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, co-workers, and others involved in patient treatment.
