Job Summary:

St. Tammany Health System is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal care and the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary medical management for critically ill neonates and infants
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of outcome measures
• Collaborate with staff neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
• Educate parents and staff on neonatal care and best practices

Requirements:

• Master's degree in nursing or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in Level III NICU as a neonatal nurse practitioner
• Current Louisiana RN and APRN licensure
• BLS and NRP certification

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods
