Overview

As a member of our Professional Nursing Resource Team, you will play a critical role in providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. You will be part of a market-based nursing resource team that is assigned to varying units during your shift to ensure that patient care needs are met within the assigned facility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including medical/surgical, telemetry, critical/intermediate care, behavioral health, emergency, and women's services.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest nursing practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Current compact licensure in the appropriate state.
  • NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units.
  • Specialty certification within two years of hire.
  • Ability to interpret information and identify each patient's requirement for care relative to their age-specific needs.
  • Knowledge and skill necessary to modify care according to patient age.
