Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Geriatric Psychology Nurse. This is a full-time, ongoing position with a 32-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Job Summary:This role provides direct clinical patient care to geriatric patients with mental health needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as supervising staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Responsibilities:- Assess and plan patient care to meet individual needs
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans, including medication management and treatment
- Supervise and educate staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
- Experience in geriatric psychology or mental health nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
