Position Overview:

The Service Foreman plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while enhancing operational efficiency. This position is vital for ensuring that our Service Operations Department maintains high technical service standards, maximizing customer satisfaction and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, mentor, and train service technicians.
  • Provide technical support for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of HVAC systems.
  • Understand and oversee major repair processes for commercial HVAC systems.
  • Manage safety protocols and collaborate with the Safety Coordinator on incident investigations.
  • Consult with clients to resolve issues effectively.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and handle disciplinary actions professionally.
  • Support and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in setting and achieving team goals and training initiatives.
  • Perform journey-level HVAC tasks and additional duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate with service management on work planning and assignments.
  • Recruit, train, and manage service staff to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Encourage professional development and training for team members.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in managing personnel.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the commercial HVAC sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive representation of the company to clients.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Compliance with federal, state, and local licensing requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing.
  • Capability to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Compensation: Salary is based on union scale, with an estimated hourly range of $65-$75.
