Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at SpaceX. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Starlink facility, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of facilities technicians to ensure zero unplanned interruptions of services to employees and customers
  • Manage third-party service providers to ensure services meet corporate standards and contract terms
  • Develop and execute site improvement projects aligned with business objectives and strategy
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of building-related infrastructure, including electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and industrial gas systems
  • Develop and administer an effective periodic maintenance program for facilities
  • Prioritize tasks and projects to drive department efficiency and eliminate blockers to critical path
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 3+ years of professional experience in facilities management
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team or project
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts
  • Experience with asset management software and building management systems
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, fluid plumbing systems, fire suppression systems, and generators
Additional Requirements
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical activities and emergency situations
  • Occasional extended hours and weekend work may be required
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $105,000 - $135,000 per year

Eligible for long-term incentives, including company stock, stock options, and long-term cash awards
