Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $37,440, based on an hourly rate of $18.00. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Job Description
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct instruction and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include supervision at job sites and community activities, reporting accomplishment of goals and objectives daily, and transporting the individual with your personal vehicle. You must be able to communicate clearly and possess the ability to meet multiple job demands in a busy environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have 1-2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors. A clear background check is required, as well as a valid CT driver's license and car insurance. Self-care activities, such as restraining individuals during an emergency, may also be necessary.
