Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Critical Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Beacon Hill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center's critical infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to field engineers and technicians in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair programs for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Lead in the operation of all data center systems to ensure 100% uptime.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in data center operations, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of chillers, pumping, building controls, UPS, generator, controls, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Rack and stack experience, CI (Critical Infrastructure) - Switch gear, UPS, Generator, PDU (for breaker panel), CDU (for power strips in cabinets).
  • Experience working within a data center environment.
