We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as a Director of Product Operations at Procore Technologies. As a key member of our product organization, you will be responsible for scaling product organizational excellence, driving cross-functional alignment, and establishing business processes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Product Strategy and Execution: Reinforce product strategy and execution with metrics, drive cross-functional alignment, and establish business processes and best practices.
- Leadership and Management: Manage a team of operations experts and release managers, and lead budget management alongside FP&A to ensure budgets are planned, executed, and analyzed to achieve maximum ROI.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong feedback loops with stakeholders and customers to ensure product and other cross-functional team expectations are exceeded.
- Product Knowledge and Ambassadorship: Scale product knowledge throughout the company, serving as an ambassador for product org, product process, and product strategy/roadmap.
- Release Process and Roadmap Management: Own the release process, ensuring clarity and simplicity across a complex delivery of hundreds of releases to the world's biggest construction companies.
- Process Optimization: Optimize product process to ensure that PM best practices and business processes are consistent, well-aligned across the organization, and result in desired outcomes to support goals.
- Talent Development and Management: Build and maintain programs and strategies across talent, onboarding, and learning and development that keep team members happy, engaged, and growing in their career.
- Experience: 10+ years running a product operations or business operations role at a scaled technology company.
- Communication Skills: Clear executive communication skills, with the ability to interface with senior execs both within Procore and customers.
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of previous experience in people management.
- Product Management Knowledge: Deep understanding of Product Management, Design, Engineering, User Research, and how these functions come together to deliver innovation.
- Quantitative Experience: Experience in a highly quantitative product organization.
- Relationship Building: Strong relationship skills with the ability to foster a sense of community with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Project Management: Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
