Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
  • Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
