CRNA/Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Anesthetist - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our integrated academic healthcare system. As a vital member of our team, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Work Hours/Schedule:Full-time, partial call position with no night coverage required. 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available.
Work Location(s):Multiple locations within the Emory Healthcare system, including Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Emory University Ortho & Spine Hospital.
Highlights of the Position:- Competitive salary range: $183,300 - $220,000 per year (based on experience)

- 37 days of PTO (full-time, 1.0 FTE), benefits coverage, including PTO accrual, will begin from first day of employment

Under the direction of an anesthesiologist, assists in the administration of general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procedure patients. Performs initial acute cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in life-threatening situations or as directed by a physician. Interprets and records patient's physiological and pharmacological status. Assists the anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data. Instructs others in principles and practices of anesthesia, respiratory care, and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation as directed by the anesthesiologist. Assists in research projects as carried out by an anesthesiologist.
Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Masters Degree program
- Licensed or eligible to practice in the State of Georgia
- Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
- Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from American Heart Association (AHA) required
