CRNA/Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Anesthetist - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our team in a hospital/ASC hybrid setting. As a vital part of our integrated academic healthcare system, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Work Hours/ScheduleWe offer a full-time schedule with 10 or 12-hour shifts, as well as opportunities for extra shifts if desired. This position comes with no calls and no weekends.
Highlights of Joining Our TeamAs a member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $168,300 - $205,000 per year, based on years of experience as an Anesthetist (CRNA or CAA). You will also be eligible for benefits, including PTO accrual, life insurance, and retirement program options. Additionally, you will have access to extra duty pay, CME time-off & allowances, student loan repayment program, and 37 days of PTO.

ResponsibilitiesAs an Anesthetist - CRNA or CAA, you will assist in the administration of general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procedure patients. You will also perform initial acute cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in life-threatening situations or as directed by a physician. Additionally, you will interpret and record patient's physiological and pharmacological status, assist the Anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data, and instruct others in principles and practices of anesthesia, respiratory care, and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
RequirementsWe are seeking a graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Masters Degree program. You must be licensed or eligible to practice in the State of Georgia and certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA). You must also maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs) and hold BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from American Heart Association (AHA).

Physical RequirementsThis position requires occasional to frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work. You must be able to lift 50 lbs max and carry objects up to 25 lbs.
Environmental FactorsYou will be exposed to blood-borne pathogen exposure, bio-hazardous waste, chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, communicable diseases, electrical shock, floor surfaces, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, latex, lighting, patient care/handling injuries, radiation, shift work, and travel may be required.
