Position Responsibilities
As a GS-05 level Recreation Fee Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a primary point of contact for visitors, providing information about recreational activities and opportunities.
- Managing the collection and accounting of fees in accordance with established guidelines.
- Utilizing a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system to facilitate transactions efficiently.
- Conducting inventory checks and replenishing supplies as necessary.
- Assisting in the evaluation of the fee collection program.
- Preparing financial reports and bank deposits, while addressing any discrepancies that arise.
Continuous Recruitment
This position remains open for applications on an ongoing basis.
Some roles may be seasonal, offering a minimum of 26 weeks of full-time employment annually. Locations of work may vary.
Essential Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- A background investigation with favorable results is required.
- Compliance with the Selective Service Registration Act is necessary for male applicants.
- Completion of online assessments may be required.
- Participation in the Direct Deposit Electronic Funds Transfer Program is expected.
- Operating a motor vehicle may be necessary.
