Position Summary

The role involves overseeing the financial health of the organization by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on financial data while ensuring adherence to established financial policies and regulations. This position encompasses general accounting functions, management of fixed assets, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and revenue accounting, including accounts receivable. A hybrid work schedule is available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals, focusing on revenue accounting and accounts receivable management.
  • Ensure the implementation and execution of sound accounting practices.
  • Supervise individual contributors and/or team leaders.
  • Accountable for team performance and outcomes within the specialized area.
  • Evaluate departmental priorities to effectively address resource and operational challenges.
  • Make decisions and solve problems in alignment with established policies and departmental objectives, with guidance from senior leadership.
  • Utilize a comprehensive understanding of the business to integrate departmental goals with broader organizational objectives.
  • Monitor the team's performance in achieving service quality and timeliness.
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational issues, considering their impact across the department.
  • Manage multiple related teams, adjusting departmental plans to meet immediate service and operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience
  • Typically requires 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
