About the Role

The Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Manager is a critical position within MUFG Bank, Ltd., responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production of regulatory filings. This role requires a deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to design and implement effective controls to ensure data quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Reporting Oversight: Provide guidance and oversight to ensure the production of high-quality regulatory reports, including the FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and FR Y-15 STWF reports.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with various teams to identify areas for process improvement and design new controls to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed reviews of data systems and reporting logic to identify and remediate data quality issues, working closely with multiple teams.
  • Reporting Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of U.S. Liquidity reports versus other regulatory reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and maintain process and control documents that align with the Bank's framework.
  • Regulatory Change Management: Participate in multi-function teams to develop and implement regulatory and accounting changes.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Provide support for ad-hoc requests and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven years of financial services industry experience, with a focus on liquidity regulatory reporting, and three years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of U.S. Basel III rules and regulations, as well as other banking regulations impacting bank holding companies and foreign banking organizations.
  • Reporting Experience: Previous experience in regulatory reporting, specifically in the preparation of U.S. Liquidity Regulatory Reports.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills, good judgment, and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
What We Offer

MUFG Bank, Ltd. offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $133,000 to $164,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
