Perioperative Registered Nurse

Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. is seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with other disciplines, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Leadership and Delegation: Delegate nursing care activities, provide supervision, and establish plans for delivering care that addresses the unique needs of patients and populations.
- Medication Management: Access medication storage areas as required for job tasks and adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Licensure and Education: Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Experience: Two years of varied perioperative services, previous PACU, or critical care experience (preferred).
