Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures with precision to support clinical assessments.
  • Utilize professional judgment to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Recognize and respond to patient needs, facilitating a smooth imaging process.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and internal protocols.
  • Evaluate patient conditions and provide clear instructions to enhance cooperation.
  • Document patient histories accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Position patients and equipment effectively to capture optimal images.
  • Review images for quality assurance and proper documentation.
  • Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
  • Participate in quality control initiatives and maintain compliance with standards.
  • Administer contrast media safely and manage any adverse reactions.
  • Maintain sterile techniques to prevent infection.
  • Support the training and supervision of student technologists.
  • Utilize radiology information systems proficiently.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all patients.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure/Certification:
  • Current Certified Radiologic Technologist license in Florida.
  • Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
