Work Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: Initial training period with potential transition to 10-hour shifts; on-call duties approximately one week every three weeks.

Your Role: As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, you will utilize a diverse range of technical skills during complex cardiac interventional and diagnostic procedures. Your expertise will ensure efficient, safe, and comfortable examinations for all patients. You will be proficient in angiography and responsible for patient preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring, adhering to departmental policies and professional standards.

Your Contributions:

  • Adhere to CDC guidelines, utilize PPE effectively, and maintain hand hygiene standards. Prepare patients using aseptic techniques and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Verify and implement orders, communicate with physicians, and respond effectively in clinical emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring authenticity and security.
  • Function effectively in all procedural roles within the cardiac laboratory and respond to on-call assignments as needed.
  • Engage in continuous learning and assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.

Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or related fields.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse, Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in complex cardiac interventional or electrophysiology procedures.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
