Job OpportunityAt Career Group Companies, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Professional Development Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the professional development function at our firm, working closely with the Professional Development Manager and the People Team to contribute to a diverse range of functions.Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of employee onboarding and integration initiatives, gathering and disseminating information to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Development Manager to design and administer annual and interim performance review processes, ensuring timely and effective evaluations.
  • Coordinate in-house Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, tracking lawyers' CLE compliance and bar admissions status, maintaining accurate records and ensuring the firm's accredited provider status.
  • Manage the details of the firm's Core Curriculum, working with attorneys to prepare program materials, liaising with office leaders to reserve conference rooms and secure audio/visual equipment for training programs.
  • Provide on-site support and ongoing interaction with industry vendors to enhance learning initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal effectiveness efforts, including internal communications, programming, and events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years' relevant work experience in project coordination, professional development, education, or Human Resources, with a strong preference for professional services or prior Law Firm experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and follow them through to completion, working well under tight deadlines and juggling shifting priorities.
