Position Summary:

The Head of Enterprise Applications is a dynamic and skilled technical leader responsible for overseeing Truckstop's ERP and CRM systems. This role is crucial in aligning technology with the strategic objectives of a rapidly growing organization. The Enterprise Applications team will manage the operational execution of IT functions related to enterprise systems in support of various business departments.

This individual will oversee the management, deployment, and operational excellence of enterprise-level Salesforce and integrated business system solutions, including but not limited to ERP and CRM. Responsibilities include managing resources effectively to plan, evaluate, deploy, and oversee these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of technical professionals responsible for the administration and operational excellence of CRM and ERP systems.
  • Act as a change agent for enterprise applications, facilitating Truckstop's success and ensuring efficient and stable business operations.
  • Collaborate with business units to drive growth and operational efficiencies.
  • Identify desired business outcomes and implement improvements through process changes, technology, and training.
  • Provide leadership and serve as a business relationship manager among stakeholders, defining projects, leading processes, resolving issues, mitigating risks, and communicating status updates.
  • Work alongside the Sr. Director and VP of Enterprise Technology and Security Services to maintain and execute the ERP/CRM strategy and roadmap.
  • Ensure transparency for the business regarding the Salesforce development pipeline, including completed, ongoing, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Chair the Salesforce Steering Committee to prioritize pipeline work.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and support for the ERP/CRM team.
  • Oversee vendor relationships to ensure quality product delivery and responsiveness to company needs, including managing third-party vendors for integrations and support.
  • Collaborate with legal and security teams to review and maintain contracts with vendors.
  • Work with the business to proactively identify licensing needs and maintain budgets for CRM/ERP systems and tools.
  • Lead security initiatives within the enterprise application group.
  • Provide IT governance and proactively identify ways to manage change within the CRM/ERP space.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments to ensure relevant solutions are available to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and leverage automation to reduce system deployment and support cycle times.
  • Understand system interdependencies and existing and anticipated ERP functionalities.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the daily operations and activities of assigned business process areas.
  • Analyze workflows to identify potential application solutions.
  • Understand business processes and work to eliminate technical debt.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience in managing ERP/CRM operations towards excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in managing and leading teams responsible for ERP/CRM operations.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Sales, and Service Clouds.
  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce and ERP solutions.
  • Proficient in SDLC and project management methodologies.
  • 10-12 years of IT management experience.
  • Agile experience preferred.
