We are seeking a skilled Submersible Pump Mechanic to join our team at Ohio Transmission Corporation. As a key member of our Pump and Motor Technology group, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and rebuild of submersible pumps and motors.
Key Responsibilities- Tear down submersible equipment, utilizing industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations.
- Inspect equipment and parts for wear and damage, and diagnose possible reasons for failure.
- Provide information on parts and additional work required, and offer recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
- Complete reports as required, and ensure accurate documentation of work performed.
- Paint and prepare equipment for shipment, and load, secure, and deliver equipment as necessary.
- Clean and organize the shop, and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
