As a porter, your responsibilities will include maintaining the physical condition of the community in line with operational and safety standards. This position encompasses both maintenance and custodial duties.

• Execute daily cleaning and maintenance activities to uphold the appearance of communal areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Sanitize high-traffic zones, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational facilities.
• Oversee the cleanliness of outdoor environments, such as sidewalks, parking areas, and landscaping.
• Ensure that waste and recycling stations are regularly emptied and kept organized.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Address minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, performing paint touch-ups, and assembling furniture.
• Assist residents during their move-in and move-out processes, including loading and unloading belongings.
• Provide courteous and responsive customer service, addressing residents' inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive experience for residents.
• Maintain outdoor landscaping, including mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and planting flowers.
• Keep outdoor spaces free of debris and litter.
• Complete work orders as required.
You Have:
• 0-1 year of experience in custodial or maintenance roles.
• A valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills to interact with associates and residents effectively.
• Ability to comprehend policies and procedures, including but not limited to Key Control Policy, Apartment Home Turnover Policy, and all Maintenance Emergency protocols.
• Familiarity with cleaning and chemical supplies, along with the ability to read and understand Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its proper usage.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, and operational sequences.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various paint types and tools.
