Maintenance Technician Job Description

At Universal Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance of a safe, clean, and healthy physical environment for our patients, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain organization's grounds and perform routine building maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare facility for special functions and respond to alarms and codes in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a clean facility and order, deliver, and inventory hospital supplies.
  • Assist with inventory of patient belongings and maintenance logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a hospital environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of H.V.A.C. equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and plant operations.
  • Familiar use of hand and power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Ability to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License with a clear driving record.
