Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the physical and mechanical aspects of the property are well-maintained. This includes ensuring all individual and common area systems are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embody the company culture and strive to provide the best possible living experience for residents.
  • Provide professional appearance and behavior at all times, adhering to the established dress code.
  • Meet daily with the maintenance lead and/or community manager to set a plan for the day.
  • Meet established goals around unit turns, work order completions, and community appearance.
  • Utilize property management software and mobile maintenance app to receive, log, and complete work orders as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff, responding quickly to inquiries and requests.
  • Assist in maintaining all maintenance areas, including the shop, garages, mechanical rooms, and storage areas.
  • Assist in maintaining all vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are functioning, safe, and clean.
  • Maintain awareness of parts and supply inventories, working to keep inventory orderly and organized.
  • Work with the maintenance lead and staff to complete preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Strive to improve knowledge of the property, its systems, and general operations.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to act independently and make decisions.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and appliances using proper tools and safety equipment.
  • Must work Saturdays.
  • Flexibility to overtime and other unscheduled times.
Education and Experience
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Prior maintenance experience.
  • Desired certifications: HVAC, plumbing, CPO, and electrical.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation: $23-$23 Hourly Wage
