Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Littleton. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and preventive maintenance to our buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repair, or replacement of broken parts, adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary, clean and lubricate parts.
  • Repair and maintain building woodwork, such as bins, counters, benches, stairs, windows, doors, and ceiling tile.
  • Repair articles of furniture, such as cabinets, chairs, and office equipment.
  • Repair and maintain valves, showers, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures, and open clogged drains.
  • Repair, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
  • Paint, varnish, stain, enamel, lacquer, and redecorate walls, woodwork, and fixtures of buildings and facilities using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Inspect and perform safety tests on electrical lighting, emergency generators, alarm systems, and medical equipment.
  • Maintain all required records and information for all regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in painting/building maintenance or the ability to demonstrate the ability to perform these responsibilities.
