The Core Technologies team is pivotal in designing, testing, and certifying secure mission systems, cross-domain solutions, and cryptographic technologies that empower our military personnel in complex operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the growth and enhancement of our Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) product line, ensuring we maintain our status as an industry leader in secure connectivity solutions.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities related to our CDS offerings.
  • Develop execution strategies and lead a diverse team of engineers to deliver CDS solutions that align with customer timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes consistent program performance and meets business commitments.
  • Engage effectively with various stakeholders, including customers, program management, and senior leadership.
  • Gain insights into how our technologies enhance the effectiveness of armed services against contemporary threats, leading the team in creating solutions that ensure battlefield superiority.
  • Enhance your leadership skills while working with essential technologies in the aerospace sector.

Required Qualifications:
  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a relevant field, or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in strategizing and leading teams to pursue and secure new business.
  • Expertise in managing the complete product development lifecycle, including scope negotiation, project planning, requirements definition, design, integration, testing, and verification.
  • Experience in project bidding and budget management.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is essential.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to work from the Cedar Rapids, IA location.
  • Familiarity with networking technologies and certification requirements.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SEER bid estimating techniques.
  • Current or recent Secret (or higher) security clearance is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
