Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of our team, you will:
  • Oversee the strategic planning, scheduling, and execution of various engineering projects and personnel.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring effective communication and resolution of project-related issues.
  • Define project scope and engage in contract negotiations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Supervise and review final designs, plans, and specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage engineering services during the construction phase, providing technical guidance to clients and contractors.
  • Engage in business development activities, including proposals and presentations.
  • Formulate and execute marketing strategies to promote our services.
  • Organize project assignments and oversee the work of engineers and technicians.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  • Review timesheets, prepare billing, and manage collections.
  • Present preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Enhance skills through ongoing education to meet licensure requirements.
  • Travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • A minimum of twelve years of progressive experience in design and complex construction.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D, Microstation).
  • Knowledge of specialized design software (e.g., HydroCAD, WaterCAD, StormCAD, SewerCAD, XP-SWMM).
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel during the construction season.
