Job Summary

The Chief Impact and Partnerships Officer is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for driving business and partnership development, enhancing operational efficiency, and spearheading strategic initiatives. This role requires a collaborative leader with exceptional organizational skills, adept at building partnerships across diverse organizations and individuals.

The ideal candidate will have experience at the intersection of business development, strategy, and innovation, with a strong understanding of the FQHC sector, healthcare policies, and community health issues. They will be able to build and maintain relationships with community leaders, elected officials, labor partners, and stakeholders within the San Francisco East Bay region.

The Chief Impact and Partnerships Officer will play a critical role in shaping and implementing TVHC's strategic and business development plans, crafting compelling and innovative strategies that engage stakeholders and fuel growth. They will oversee business development, partnerships, admin project management, and strategy, and will be responsible for leading initiatives to expand existing programs and develop new lines of business.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of driving business growth, building partnerships, and executing strategic initiatives. They will be a creative thinker with a strategic mindset, a results-driven approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business and partnership development, enhancing operational efficiency and spearheading strategic initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, elected officials, labor partners, and stakeholders
  • Develop and oversee annual Partnerships, Advocacy and External Affairs Plan
  • Lead initiatives to expand existing programs and develop new lines of business
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure alignment and integration of new programs
  • Conduct market research to identify community health needs and emerging trends in healthcare delivery
  • Prepare and present reports to the executive leadership team and board of directors on business development activities and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Public Administration or External Affairs required (master's degree highly preferred)
  • Minimum of eight+ years of progressively senior leadership roles in a director or executive level administrative, strategy, business development or public relations role
  • Strong understanding of the FQHC sector, healthcare policies, and community health issues
  • Established relationships with community leaders, elected officials, labor partners, and stakeholders within the San Francisco East Bay region
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach
