Key Responsibilities:

  • Review applications for criminal complaints and determine whether probable cause exists.
  • Conduct hearings and make judgments on small claims cases.
  • Arrange for hearings and notify counsel.
  • Certify and transmit official copies of court records.
  • Issue process as required by the court or prescribed by statutes and rules of court.
  • Supervise the receipt, recording, and disbursement of fees and money by the court.
  • Perform related work as required.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of relevant work experience in criminal justice, public administration, or business administration, including supervisory experience.
  • Or a law degree or a graduate degree in a relevant field and 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Employment with the Trial Court is contingent upon passage of a criminal record check.
