Job Summary:

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration of Patient Demographics: Accurately and efficiently register patients, including collecting and verifying demographic information.
  • Document Scanning: Scan all documents associated with registration completion into patient charts, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and ensure accurate billing information.
  • Front Desk Support: Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating systems and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Team Support: Assist other offices with coverage issues when needed, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess a pleasant, friendly demeanor, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and co-workers.
