Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves addressing and thoroughly analyzing complex client inquiries related to account management, procedural questions, and other relevant matters. For escalated inquiries, the representative will collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure comprehensive follow-up by identifying root causes and contributing factors. This communication may occur through written correspondence or verbal discussions with clients or their representatives (such as payers or legal representatives). A solid understanding of Conifer Health Solutions and client requirements is essential for effective resolution and service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Responding to intricate inquiries while collaborating with various management levels across departments to ensure thorough research and resolution. This may involve analyzing trends and breakdowns for actionable insights, utilizing client systems and standard operating procedures.
  • Conducting detailed analyses of escalated issues to identify drivers and root causes, with the expectation of producing reports that facilitate monthly data review.
  • Generating weekly trend reports for management that outline issues, root causes, and potential solutions, supported by relevant data.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the following:
  • Independent and analytical thinking capabilities with a proven track record of conducting detailed analyses and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Strong mediation skills to resolve complex issues with internal partners.
  • Sound judgment in evaluating risks and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving while knowing when to seek assistance or clarification.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent listening and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills, capable of researching and articulating complex process breakdowns and trends.
  • Ability to maintain high productivity standards while ensuring exceptional quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of Hospital Revenue Cycle Services.
  • Proficient data entry and typing skills.
  • A collaborative team player, willing to assist colleagues and go the extra mile to achieve objectives.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
Conifer Health Solutions requires candidates to comply with all applicable vaccination and screening requirements prior to employment commencement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Preferred qualifications include:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in client relations or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees must be able to:
  • Remain seated at a computer for extended periods.
  • Work additional hours as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is characterized by:
  • A call center setting with headsets and multiple workstations in close proximity.
