Strategic Pharmacy Director

Mercy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Pharmacy Director to lead our Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy functions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive clinical, quality, financial, regulatory, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and improvement in Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of pharmacy services with overall Mercy strategy
- Provide leadership and direction to Ambulatory Pharmacy Directors and managers to ensure consistent pharmacy operating procedures and practices
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion of Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy services
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Minimum 7 years of practice experience required, with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
- BS or higher degree in pharmacy required; MS or PharmD strongly preferred
- Current pharmacist license from state(s) in which he/she practices
- Leadership ability, good interpersonal skills, and ability to apply sound principles of management and supervision
