Compassionate Hospice RN Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Concho Hearts Hospice in San Antonio, Texas. As a hospice nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families during a challenging time.

About the Role:

  • Full-time position with a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Coverage area: Spring
  • Benefits include 401k, medical, dental, vision insurance, 21 days of PTO, and mileage reimbursement of $.50 per mile.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver comprehensive palliative care to patients in their homes, focusing on symptom management, pain control, and quality of life.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  3. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, addressing concerns and promoting understanding of the hospice philosophy.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospice or palliative care setting
  • Licensed driver with reliable transportation and vehicle insurance
  • Current BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to read, write, and comprehend English
