Job Summary

The Field Marketing Manager will serve as the primary marketing ambassador for a set territory of franchise-operated restaurants, working closely with Franchise Owners to develop local marketing plans that build sales and brand awareness in the market. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, as the Field Marketing Manager will partner with Franchise Owners to create and execute local marketing plans, measure results, and communicate findings. Additionally, the Field Marketing Manager will support store-level execution of system-wide marketing programs, including restaurant openings in their respective markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Partner with Franchise Owners to develop local marketing plans that build sales and brand awareness in their respective market.
* Coach and support Franchise Owners on the development and execution of their local marketing plans.
* Measure results of local store marketing plans and communicate results.
* Create the Promotion Marketing Guide, including developing seasonal local store marketing programs, leading creative development for marketing assets, and presenting information on system-wide webinars.
* Partner with media agency and Director of Marketing on recommended tactics for markets, as requested.
* Maintain the local marketing toolkit.
* Assist in the development of marketing materials as needed.
* Serve as the Project Manager for New Restaurants. Social Media & Local Website Setup.
* Coach franchise owners to maintain brand standards at all times.
* Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or Related Field.
* At least 5 years' professional experience in field marketing, brand marketing, public relations, advertising agency, or communications.
* Restaurant and/or franchise concept experience in marketing is a plus, as well as experience managing local marketing programs.
* Strong time management & organizational skills required.
* Passion for talking to people, relationship building, and spreading the "Chick" culture.
* Microsoft Office Suite with excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus.

Work Environment

The Field Marketing Manager will be based in the Chicken Salad Chick office in Atlanta, GA, with frequent overnight and daytime travel required.
