Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with their purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Merchandising: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, rotating products, and ensuring that all bakery products are properly displayed.
  • Food Safety: Ensure that all bakery products are fresh and of high quality by following proper food safety procedures and maintaining accurate records.
  • Flexibility: Perform other duties as needed to support the team, including working varying shifts and covering for absent colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
  • Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Safety Awareness: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Standing for extended periods of time (80% of time)
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis (20% of time)
  • Frequently near moving machinery (50% of time)
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20% of time)
