Job Description

Aerotek is seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics/Set Up Technicians for an immediate opening in the Greater New Haven area. These professionals will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on various manufacturing machines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing set-ups and preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conducting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Performing root cause analysis to identify causes of defects and troubleshoot problems.
  • Identifying, retrieving, and replacing machine components from the stockroom.
  • Creating and fulfilling orders via a cloud-based parts management system.

Requirements:
  • Previous manufacturing and machine maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical experience.
  • General computer skills.
  • Previous troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to read and understand written documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
