We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.
- Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
- Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
- May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
- May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Nice to Have:
- Strong electromechanical & pneumatic equipment troubleshooting.
- Technical training/certification.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, Cognex Vision and automated equipment troubleshooting.
- Trained/Certified in Lean and/or six sigma.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $47, $70,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
