Job Description:

We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Southland Industries. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for employees and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safety procedures to mitigate hazards.
  • Provide training and education to employees and contractors on safety best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into all aspects of the business.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and near-miss events.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a related field, such as occupational health and safety or construction management.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
