**About the Job**

Vista Autism Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Behavioral Specialist to join our team. This full-time or part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism.

**Job Summary**

The Educational Behavioral Specialist will work closely with Behavior Analysts to implement client plans and programs across school and community environments. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing situations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Fully implement assigned client plans and programs with fidelity, utilizing proper protective equipment when necessary.
  • Accurately complete documentation requirements related to daily in-school services, including emergency procedure forms.
  • Provide support to students through activities of daily living (i.e., self-care routines and chores) and swimming activities, and implement programming across environments to generalize skills.
  • Complete high-quality session notes, and maintain professional relationships with families and community partners.
  • Under the direction of the Behavior Analyst, design materials for behavioral programming and support, organize client materials and work areas, prepare reinforcement, train other staff on program changes, and complete fidelity checks.
  • Collaborate with Behavior Analysts to monitor client programming and progress, and perform treatment integrity checks as prescribed.
  • Collect, document, and enter data or other relevant information pertaining to client behavior, goals, and prescribed programming.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Training required.
  • Successful completion of Vista's Crisis Intervention curriculum.
  • Ability to implement, train, and coach other staff on service implementation and crisis prevention/intervention techniques.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services field highly desired.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in human services field or school setting highly desired.
  • Minimum six months experience at Vista preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

**Salary Information**

This role is compensated at $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
